Spinnaker focusses on improving in-use asset values through asset improvement or
re-positioning working alongside existing operating and financial partners.
Andrew Turton
Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in real estate; specialising in creating value through asset management and development strategies. Andrew was formerly the Director of Asset Management at Marks & Spencer writing and implementing business plans to create value from the M&S’s “owned” portfolio. Key strategies included repositioning assets away from retail to Grade A offices, PBSA, Co-Living and wider build to rent property.
Andrew formerly worked at Catalyst Capital; running two joint ventures with Blackstone and one with ADIA (Abu Dhabi Investment Authority); these included implementing development and asset management services; and previously at Delancey; as asset manager to the Metro Shopping Fund; a joint venture between Delancey and Land Securities PLC.
Andrew is a member of the Royal Institution of the Chartered Surveyors, a keen sailor and now a ‘Life’ Member of the MCC.
Abhi Agarwalla
Abhi has over 17 years of experience across real estate investing and financial services. Prior to founding Spinnaker, he worked as the Head of Asset Management programme at M&S, where he focussed on development-led repositioning of existing buildings, and asset-backed structured finance deals.
Prior to M&S, Abhi spent 8 years with Catalyst Capital covering the UK, and India focussing on cross-sector value-add and opportunistic deals which included strategic joint ventures with ADIA and a Private Family Office. Abhi started his career at Lehman Brothers raising institutional capital for the internal hedge fund group.
Abhi holds an MEng from Imperial College, London and MBA from the Indian School of Business and is also a CFA Charterholder.
